Pine Creek Escape

September 18, 2020 came with the most perfect fall weather… A light breeze, not hot nor cold, and 0% chance of rain in the forecast. Megan and Zac had made it through a crazy year of planning during COVID, and were finally able to be married at the Canyon at Pine Creek in Oregon, Il. Our TBBT crew arrived that morning at a nearby log cabin to glam up the party of 5 for Megan’s big moment!

At Megan’s trial we aimed to make beauty selections that fit her picturesque outdoor venue, after all, It’s not every day that a bride has a Canyon ceremony—especially in flat lands of Illinois! Megan chose to wear her long brown hair in effortless waves. We pinned back a twist on each side that met at the back in a low V shape.

Megan wore the same pearl necklace and earrings that her grandmother wore on her very own wedding day. Pearls being a sophisticated selection, she chose a classic matte makeup look in earth tones.
